Pre-booking for much-awaited JioPhone has opened today. At the Reliance Industries' 40th Annual General Meeting in last month, chairman Mukesh Ambani had announced that consumers would be able to book the new 4G Jio feature phone from August 24 at an effective price of Rs 0. You have to pay just Rs 500 while pre-booking the JioPhone. The remaining Rs 1,000 can be paid at the time of delivery. Customers can get a full refund of the security deposit of Rs 1,500 by returning the used JioPhone after 36 months.
